Coretha Ellison, 83, of Walterboro, SC passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home of Walterboro. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.

Mrs. Coretha Williams Ellison, daughter of the late Albertha Musterford was born April 10, 1938 in Walterboro, South Carolina. She was educated in Colleton County Schools. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Mount Olive Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member. 
Coretha Williams was united in holy matrimony to Elijah Ellison, Sr. and to this union two sons; Elijah and Isacc Ellison, IV
Mrs. Coretha, as a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. 
She departed this life Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Colleton Medical Center, in Walterboro, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her mother, Albertha Musterford, and her sibling; Martha, Mary, Mena, and Susie.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children; Elijah Ellison Williams (Dorichy E. Williams), and Isaac Ellison IV (Ada Helene Ellison), her siblings; John Williams, Eugene (Shirley) Williams, Coralee Williams, George Miller, Jr., grandchildren; Aretha L. (Cliffrod) Rhone-Bush, Koretta (Shanard) Ellison, Sherell (Corey) Murphy, Karachi Ellison Grant, Stuart McQune, Wayne McQune, Charles (Elvin) Parks, Isaac Ellison, Isiah Ellison, Shaneaque Delaguard, Deirdre, Delaguard, Sherell Lee Brown, and Ja’Kwon Barron. She was also survived by her lifelong companion of 30 years Edgar Wright.
