Carrie Mae Davis, 64, formally of Walterboro, SC, resident of Beaufort, SC, entered eternal rest Friday, April 30, 2021, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
Carrie was born July 22, 1956, the daughter of Lucille Davis, and she was reared by her grandmother Adaline Davis, and stepfather James Reed in Catholic Hill, SC. She attended school in Colleton County, graduating in 1975 from Walterboro High School. After high school, Carrie worked various jobs.
She was such a good-spirited, humble, sweet, loving, kind, and generous person. She always lit up the room with her presence and her beautiful smile always on her face.
On April 30, 2021, Carrie went to be in the loving arms of the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children; LaTreece Davis and Latroy Davis of Beaufort, SC, four grandchildren; Kenneth E. Morrall III, Ke’Maurion Ty’Reke Morrall, Destiny Zy’Aimre Davis, and Arianna Monique Milledge, four brothers; Edggar Wright of Walterboro, SC, James H. (Leadoria) Reed Sr. of Fort Pierce, Florida, John H Reed of Walterboro, SC, and Hezekiah (Emma) Reed of Fort Myers, Florida, three sisters; Shirley (Sammy) Ferguson of Walterboro, SC, Martha (Larry) Ferguson of Yemassee, SC, and Lucinda M. Reed, Uncles; Willie (Corneila) Davis of Walterboro, SC, and Julis Reed of Ft. Pierce, Florida, Aunt; Mary Sampson of Hollywood Florida, special friend; Kathy McCloud and a host of special friends and family.
