William Richard "Frosty" Dupont, III Obituary

William Richard “Frosty” Dupont, III

William Richard “Frosty” Dupont, III, was born January 4, 1994, in Beaufort, SC. “Frosty” as he was affectionally called was known for his self-taught skills in barbering and his passion for coaching and working with local area youth.

Frosty was apprenticed with Clean Shave Barbershop where he became a licensed barber and was a detailer with Stokes-Toyota of Bluffton, SC.

In 2002, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior, was baptized and became a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Later, he joined First Zion Missionary Baptist Church under Christian Experience on July 1, 2018, and loved life. Frosty was a young man who loved his family and children. He was very caring, generous and playful. Frosty had a million dollar smile like his mother.

“He was the type of player who would walk on the field and light the practice up with his smile. His smile and passion for the sport were infectious,” stated Coach Jason Frazier. After completing his secondary studies he earned his high school diploma from Bluffton High School in 2013. Frosty was a formidable athlete; excelling in football, basketball and track and field, where he broke the high school’s longstanding record for his performance in the long jump completion. He continued his love for sports by joining the Sharks Male Football team and coaching for the Hardeeville Hurricanes Little League for several years.

William was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Johnny Johnson, Jr., his brother Tre 'Amon Dupont, great-grandparents Willie (Hattie) Bennett, uncle Sammy Chisolm, and aunt Darlene Dupont.
