Mary Jane Harley

Mary Jane, 79, was born is Ashton, SC on February 1, 1939 to Elloit McGee Harley and Lutricia Varn Harley.  Mary was one of nine children.
Mary Jane  attended Ashton and Ruffin High school. After her formal education in Ruffin, Mary Jane moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1959, she began working as a clothes inspector at Yankee Maid Clothing Manufacture and she also setup displays.
Mary Jane was the proud parent of Vernita Lambert. Her enjoyment was spending time with family which included her nieces and nephews. Mary Jane was a very sweet and kind lady who loved Jesus and loved her family. 
Mary Jane Harley departed this life on Friday, October 19, 2018, at Summerville Medical Center. She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her. 
Mary Jane  leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Vernita Lambert of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Buccie (Betty) Harley of Summerville, SC and Rowland (Linda) Harley of St Matthews, SC; four grandchildren, Shamicka Johnson, Latasha Johnson, Fredricka Johnson and Latoya Johnson; great grandchildren, Lashawn Jones, Champagne Johnson, Siniah Brown, Antonio Robinson, Malachi Wilkerson, DeNeal Mitchell, X’avier Mitchell, Demond Delany, Johnathan Delany, Keonnia Felders, Lexus Jordan, Jaw’vez Dawson, Michael Bailey and LaShawn Bailey; along with a host of relatives and friends.
