Marvin Seal Dandridge

Mr. Marvin S. Dandridge, 92, was born July 31, 1926 in Cottageville, SC to the late Eddie Dandridge and Rosenell (Huff) Dandridge.
Mr. Marvin was a little man with a big spirit whom loved people and the outdoors. Blessed with a green thumb he enjoyed planting everything. On weekend nights he loved shooting pool as well as dancing. He also  enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.
He was married to the late Jewel Roberts Dandridge, this union was blessed with two children Marvin Randy Dandridge and Mary Thompson - Dandridge.
On Sunday, December 2, 2018 Mr. Marvin Dandridge  entered into eternal rest at his home, 104 Curly Rd. Varnville, SC, 29944. Mr. Dandridge was preceded in death by wife, Jewel Dandridge; three brothers, JW, Clarence and Randolph Dandridge; grandson, James “Buckshot” Thompson and son in law, James Thompson.
Mr. Marvin leaves to cherished his fond memories: his life partner, Mary Bennett of Varnville, SC;  three children, Marvin Randy Dandridge of Hampton, SC, Mary Thompson of MI, Florida; step son, Willie (Cathy) Bennett of Varnville, SC; sister, Rodgernell (Cattles) Oquin of Walterboro, SC; brother in law, Lucas Oquin grandson that he raised, Andrew Dallas Thompson of Varnville, SC; grandson, Henry Bennett of Varnville, SC, who helped him until he passed; eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; to include a friend of the family Brandy Carpenter and a host of other relatives and friends.
