Claretha Daise- Presley

Claretha Daise Presley was born in St Helena Island, SC on August 12, 1958.  She was the daughter of Sister Josephine Daise.  After graduating from Beaufort High School In 1976, Claretha moved to Milwaukee, WI where she was a 37-year employee of Time Insurance Company.
Claretha accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Orange Grove Baptist Church.  Upon moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin after graduation, she became a member of St Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church.
Claretha enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing.  She also loved to spend time with her family and friends and travel with her daughter.  Reading was also a pastime that Claretha enjoyed doing when she had the time.  
On June 21, 2019 Claretha transitioned from this earth to her heavenly home. She is preceded in death by her sister Mary Lee Daise, aunt Bernetha Daise, uncle Joe Deas, Jr. 
The duty and honor of her remembrance is left to her daughter, Chianté (Brandon) Bailey; (Shavon Dotson and Marques Hogan, children whom she loved as her own); mother, Josephine Daise; sister, Bertha Raney (Major); brother, Lawrence (Wendy) Daise, Sr.; uncle, Otis Daise Sr.; nieces Ariane Raney and Kristin Daise, nephews Jeremy Raney and Lawrence Daise, Jr.; also to include a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and special friends, Ella Rivers- Davis and Latitia Cohen- James.
